Abound Solar (formerly AVA Solar) was a Loveland, Colorado-based manufacturer of cadmium telluride thin-film solar modules, founded in 2007 from research at Colorado State University. The company targeted large-commercial and utility-scale installations and received a $400M DOE loan guarantee in 2010 before filing for bankruptcy in July 2012.
