Abeya is an AI-powered agricultural traceability platform founded in 2024 in Paris, France, that reconnects smallholder farmers directly with global manufacturers by establishing farm-level traceability. The platform provides tools for data capture, risk assessments, child labor monitoring, regenerative farming verification, and compliance documentation including traceability reports and quality certificates, enabling chocolate and consumer goods buyers to meet EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) requirements. Abeya maps cocoa cooperatives and supply chains using its Abeya One and Abeya Agent tools, and is backed by Mercy Corps Ventures.
