About
AbbeyCross was founded to fix wholesale payments into emerging markets after its founders spent years inside large banks grappling with costly, slow, and opaque FX transfers. Legacy technology, fragmented regulations, and the lack of common market standards made it hard for banks, payment companies, and NGOs to find and orchestrate the right payment providers. In 2021 they built a collaborative wholesale venue: the ABX Platform gives a single integration for FX payment execution, partner connectivity, and market data so emerging-market payment networks can run with greater transparency and choice.
