New York Fashion Tech Lab is a nonprofit business-development and mentorship platform, co-founded in 2014 by Springboard Enterprises and The Partnership Fund for NYC, supporting women-led B2B startups at the intersection of fashion, retail, and technology. Each annual cohort is chosen via competitive review by retail/brand partners and connects founders to retailers, investors, and an expert network rather than writing direct checks; 80+ companies have gone through the program as of 2025.
