Alpha Wave Incubation
A $300 million venture fund launched in May 2020 by Abu Dhabi state holding company ADQ and managed by Falcon Edge Capital (later Alpha Wave Global), investing at early stage in technology startups from India and Southeast Asia on condition that they move part of their operations or R&D to Abu Dhabi. It is a separate, far smaller vehicle from Alpha Wave Ventures, the $10 billion growth fund raised under the Alpha Wave Global rebrand in December 2021.
