Ace of Cups
Angel Group
Ace of Cups is a Miami Beach-based angel investment practice founded in early 2024 by Roman Sydorenko, who previously spent 10 years building the dating app PURE before selling it to a private equity firm in 2022. Sydorenko invests his own capital first in early-stage no- and low-ABV specialty beverage brands, occasionally inviting co-investors from his network. In 2025 the practice narrowed its focus to gourmet no/low-ABV beverages designed for wine occasions, including single-origin tea and pet-nat tea expressions, run as a pro bono, passion-driven syndicate with no carry or management fees.
