Zilper Trenchless is a construction technology company born at MIT that developed a novel trenchless pipe installation and replacement system. Their multi-technology equipment eliminates the need to dig trenches, drastically reducing the cost of installing water and utility infrastructure — particularly in challenging geologies such as flowing sands, cobbles, and high water tables. The technology is highly versatile, award-winning, and designed for contractors serving municipal water systems. Zilper was acquired by Petra in 2022.
