Yup (formerly MathCrunch) is an education technology company founded in 2014 in San Francisco, California. The platform provides on-demand, 1-on-1 virtual math tutoring to students, matching them with vetted tutors trained in Yup's proprietary teaching methodology based on Stanford University-developed practices. Students access tutoring sessions via mobile app or tablet. Yup also partnered with schools and districts to embed tutoring support into existing education workflows. The company shut down in late 2024/early 2025.
