Xyne

Xyne is an open-source, AI-first search and answer engine for work, enabling employees to search and query across fragmented internal data sources including Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, GitHub, and Zendesk. The platform enforces organizational permissions and governance controls so users only see data they are authorized to access, making it a privacy-centric alternative to Glean, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini. Founded in 2023 by Shekhar Gurav and Sahebjot Singh and headquartered in Bengaluru, India, Xyne is building toward a broader Work AI platform with agents and internal app capabilities.
