Wavelet, Inc. (WVL) is a University of Tokyo-launched deep-tech startup commercializing the Tsuji Laboratory's PASS (Portable Active Seismic Source) system — an ultra-compact, cost-effective device for continuous subsurface monitoring. The company provides technical services for environmental and energy monitoring using vibration measurement, with primary applications in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) site safety monitoring, geothermal exploration, oil and gas, and civil engineering infrastructure. Founded in July 2022 and headquartered in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Wavelet serves energy companies, infrastructure operators, and government bodies globally seeking to make CCS economically and operationally viable.
