Woozoo

Woozoo (Sharehouse Woozoo) is South Korea's first and largest themed share-house operator and social housing platform, founded in 2012 as a social venture to address the affordable housing crisis facing young people in Seoul. The company provides co-living residential experiences designed around community and belonging, targeting single-person households in their 20s and 30s who face prohibitively high rents in the city. Each Woozoo property is designed around a specific theme or concept, creating a sense of shared identity among residents. Beyond physical housing, Woozoo operates an online platform that allows users to search for share-house rooms by neighborhood, request visits, and manage their stay. By January 2017 the company had grown to 50 branches serving over 750 residents, making it the biggest and fastest-growing social-housing company in South Korea at the time, with targets to reach 100 branches.
