WoHo

WoHo is a construction technology company founded in 2020 by Antón García-Abril and Débora Mesa, co-founders of the MIT-affiliated Prototypes of Prefabrication Laboratory (POPlab), to modernize how buildings are designed, manufactured, and assembled. The company builds a system of discrete, scalable foundational components — the WoHo Production System — configurable across residential and commercial projects such as multifamily housing, hotels, labs, offices, and dormitories. WoHo aims to cut construction costs by more than 20%, shrink project delivery time by 50%, and reduce buildings' ecological footprint by 70% versus traditional construction.
