WNP Communications was a wireless telecommunications company that participated in the FCC's LMDS spectrum auction, spending $578.6 million to acquire A-block LMDS licenses covering major US markets. The company planned to use its spectrum holdings for broadband wireless services. In April 1999, WNP Communications was acquired by NextLink Communications for approximately $695 million.
