Wing Resources VIII, LLC is the latest mineral and royalty acquisition platform from Wing Resources, a Dallas-based company focused exclusively on the Permian Basin. Founded in 2016 and led by President and CEO Nick Varel, Wing VIII is backed by $100 million in equity commitments from NGP Royalty Partners III, L.P. The firm acquires high-quality mineral and royalty interests across the Midland and Delaware Basins of West Texas, providing mineral owners with upfront, lump-sum payments as an alternative to monthly royalty checks. Wing Resources currently manages more than 3,000 horizontal wells, making it one of the largest private holders of mineral and royalty interests in the Permian Basin.
