Weaveworks was a London-based open-source software company founded in 2014 that pioneered GitOps — a paradigm for Kubernetes continuous delivery using Git as the single source of truth. The company developed Flux, an open-source GitOps operator for Kubernetes, and Weave Cloud, a commercial Kubernetes management platform. Weaveworks shut down in February 2024 after failing to close its next funding round.
