Watershed Informatics

Watershed (formerly Watershed Informatics) is a cloud platform for biological data analysis, discovery, and collaboration purpose-built for the life sciences. The platform enables researchers to securely access, manage, and harmonize complex multi-omics datasets — including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and epigenomics — run analyses using customizable workflows with ready-to-use AI tools, and leverage supercomputing infrastructure to complete large-scale analyses in minutes instead of weeks. Watershed processes over 300TB of biological data per month and serves customers at Harvard Medical School, MIT, MGH, UCSD, Stanford, Northwestern, and multiple biopharma companies. The platform upholdes FAIR data principles and provides access to both public and controlled-access datasets.
