Vivifi Medical LLC

Vivifi Medical is a Houston-based medical device company developing minimally invasive technology to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and related urological conditions. Founded by Tushar Sharma, PhD (20+ patents), the company's flagship ReFlow™ device offers a non-surgical, office-based procedure completed in 10–15 minutes under local anesthesia, targeting the vascular and hormonal drivers of prostate enlargement rather than tissue removal. Vivifi has also developed the Calexis-Lap device for laparoscopic varicocele treatment. The company has received NSF SBIR Phase I ($256K), Phase II ($1M), Phase IIB ($500K), and NIH NIDDK SBIR grants, totaling over $1.26M in non-dilutive funding. The device is currently under FDA investigation and not yet commercially available; first-in-human pilot studies are planned for 2026.
