Vitae Pharmaceuticals

Vitae Pharmaceuticals (formerly Concurrent Pharmaceuticals) was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company founded in 2001 and headquartered in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The company pioneered structure-based and computational drug design, using its proprietary Contour platform to discover and develop novel small molecule therapeutics targeting difficult-to-drug proteins. Vitae built a portfolio of first-in-class drug candidates across therapeutic areas including dermatology, inflammation, and metabolic diseases. The company was publicly traded on the Nasdaq as VTAE and raised over $150 million before being acquired by Allergan in October 2016 for approximately $639 million. Its lead dermatology assets were integrated into Allergan's pipeline. One of its discovered compounds, revumenib (Revuforj), later received FDA approval in 2024 for acute leukemia.
