Village HopeCore

Village HopeCore International (HopeCore) is an innovative 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Tharaka Nithi County, Kenya, on the Eastern slopes of Mt. Kenya. Founded in 1982, HopeCore's mission is to promote sustainable livelihoods and enhance family health through capacity building, microfinance, and access to quality healthcare. Its Micro Enterprise and Public Health Programs have reached over 425,000 community members across 1,744 villages. Programs include microloans for small business startups, school-based mobile health clinics, malaria education and prevention, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives, and youth skills development through its Youth Center. HopeCore works in partnership with local organizations, government ministries, and international development partners to create lasting, community-driven impact.
