VibeRide is a Salt Lake City, Utah-based action sports hardware company that invented the world's first universal longboard brake system. Founded in 2020 at the University of Utah, the company spent years in engineering R&D before launching its patented Skate Brake in 2023, and later acquired the designs and patents of Brakeboard, a pioneer in longboard braking technology.
