Pioneering Electric Aviation
Vertical Aerospace is a Bristol, UK-based aerospace manufacturer pioneering electric aviation with zero operating emissions. The company designs and builds the VX4 (now branded Valo), a piloted four-passenger eVTOL aircraft targeting airliner-level safety certification in 2028. Valo is designed to fly up to 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph with zero operating emissions. The company holds approximately 1,500 pre-orders of Valo from customers across four continents, including American Airlines, Avolon, Bristow, GOL, and Japan Airlines. Founded by Stephen Fitzpatrick in 2016, Vertical has assembled a world-class aerospace engineering team and has manufacturing facilities and an airfield in Bristol and Kemble, UK.
