Vencore

Vencore, Inc. was a private defense contractor headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, providing mission-critical technology services and solutions primarily to US government customers including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. The company traces its origins to 1972 when it was founded in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania as part of GE Aerospace, providing systems engineering and integration services to the Intelligence Community. After passing through Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin, it was divested by Lockheed Martin in 2010 and rebranded as The SI Organization before being renamed Vencore in 2014 following the acquisition of QinetiQ North America. Vencore's capabilities spanned full life-cycle systems engineering, cybersecurity and information assurance, data analytics, network operations, advanced software development, and intelligence systems integration. The company employed approximately 4,800 people and generated $1.13 billion in revenue in 2017. In June 2018, Vencore merged with the US Public Sector business of DXC Technology and KeyPoint Government Solutions to form Perspecta Inc.
