Vantel was founded by Ulme and Love after one of them spent years as a claims adjuster in northern Sweden, denying claims because customers hadn't read the fine print in 200-page policies. In 2024 the two met and built tools to handle insurance brokerages' document-heavy work: comparing quotes, reviewing policies, and analyzing contracts, so brokers can focus on judgment and client relationships instead of paperwork. Vantel says it now works with brokerages across the US and Europe, from top-20 firms to independents, and is backed by Y Combinator and angels from Lloyd's of London.
