Uuvipak

Uuvipak is an Australian startup on a mission to eliminate single-use plastic pollution by upcycling underutilised organic food waste into 100% home-compostable, and in some cases edible, packaging such as bowls, cups, and plates. Operating out of the Brisbane area, the company has developed a patent-pending process to transform food and beverage manufacturing byproducts into biodegradable materials, and won a $50,000 prize for its upcycled, edible cups and containers. Brands including Adidas and Del Monte have used Uuvipak's natural, biodegradable packaging solutions.
