Upway is an online marketplace for certified refurbished e-bikes, founded in July 2021 in Paris by former Uber executives Toussaint Wattinne and Stéphane Ficaja. The platform buys pre-owned e-bikes from individuals, retailers, and manufacturers, refurbishes them, and resells them at up to 60% off retail prices with a one-year warranty. Upway operates in nine markets across Europe and the United States, having refurbished and sold over 100,000 e-bikes.
