Ubugoe

Ubugoe (ubgoe) was a Japanese crowdfunding platform operated by Ubugoe Inc., established in September 2020 and launched in February 2021. It differentiated itself with a 0% fee model for project creators, instead charging purchasers a system usage fee of 330 yen plus 5% of the purchase amount. The platform primarily hosted entertainment-sector projects including music, animation, games, and VTuber content, processing approximately 7–10 billion yen annually at its peak. The site became inaccessible in April 2026 amid allegations of failing to remit millions in collected funds to project creators.
