TVShow Time (later rebranded TV Time) was a TV and film tracking platform and social network that launched in Paris, France on May 11, 2011, using TheTVDB as its data source so users could log what they watched, rate episodes and movies, and follow a community's activity. In December 2016, Santa Monica-based Whip Networks acquired the French startup, and the service rebranded as TV Time in 2017. TV Time went on to acquire TheTVDB (2019) and Mediamorph (2019), launched the TVLytics analytics platform for media companies, and won 'Best Entertainment App' at the 2021 Webby Awards. Parent company Whip Media discontinued TV Time's app and website on July 15, 2026, as it pivoted toward enterprise AI products.
