TuHURA Biosciences is a Phase 3 immuno-oncology company developing novel therapeutics designed to overcome primary and acquired resistance to cancer immunotherapies. Its proprietary Immune Fx (IFx) innate immune agonist platform is designed to trick the body's immune system into attacking tumor cells by making them look like bacteria. The lead candidate, IFx-2.0, is in a Phase 3 registration trial as an adjunctive therapy to Keytruda (pembrolizumab) for first-line treatment of advanced or metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma. The company is also developing TBS-2025 and bi-specific antibody-peptide and antibody-drug conjugates targeting myeloid-derived suppressor cells to prevent T cell exhaustion and acquired resistance.
