Tudou is a Chinese video-sharing platform founded in 2005 and headquartered in Shanghai, allowing users to upload, view, and share video clips. One of China's earliest and largest online video sites, it was acquired by Youku in 2012 and now operates as a subsidiary of Alibaba's Youku. At its peak it served over 170 million monthly unique visitors.
