Tragara Pharmaceuticals

Tragara Pharmaceuticals, Inc. was a privately held, San Diego-based pharmaceutical company focused on the clinical and preclinical development of novel small-molecule therapeutics for cancer and inflammation-related disorders. The company launched with a Series A financing in March 2007 and advanced compounds including TG02 (an investigational kinase inhibitor studied in Phase I trials) and Capoxigem (apricoxib), which completed enrollment in a Phase II non-small-cell lung cancer trial. Tragara also formed development partnerships, including a global agreement with S*BIO and a Greater China licensing deal with Lee's Pharmaceuticals for TG02. The company was later renamed Adastra Pharmaceuticals and acquired/merged as an operating subsidiary.
