Tongyi Lubricant

Tongyi Lubricant is a Chinese lubricant manufacturer and supplier with blending plants in Beijing, Xianyang, and Wuxi. Originally a joint venture between Shell and Huo's Group, Shell sold its 75% stake to Huo's Group and The Carlyle Group in 2015. Operating under the brand name Monarch, Tongyi was described as the largest private domestic lubricant brand in China at the time of Shell's divestiture, serving both industrial and automotive lubricant markets.
