Tomato Jos

Tomato Jos is a Nigerian agricultural production and processing company founded in 2014 by Mira Mehta in Kaduna State, Nigeria. The company operates a vertically integrated model connecting smallholder tomato farmers with processing and retail markets, with the mission of building a profitable and sustainable tomato industry in Nigeria. Tomato Jos works with hundreds of partner farmers to increase yields through education, logistics support, and market access, and produces branded retail tomato paste products for local consumption. Approximately 60% of the smallholder farmers in its network are women, and the company employs around 200 people. Backed by investors including Alitheia Capital and Sabou Capital, Tomato Jos has raised growth capital to expand its farming and processing operations across Nigeria.
