Thinker-Tinker is a Pasadena EdTech company that invents games, toys, and educational products meant to turn idle screen time into meaningful interactive play. Its flagship product is Octobo, a learning platform that pairs an interactive octopus doll with educational children's books and a companion app. Children connect a phone or tablet over Bluetooth to wake the doll, solve puzzles, and find props in the books; Octobo senses how they interact and responds. The company has been named a TechCrunch Disrupt Top Pick in IoT, Robotics, and Hardware and was a Last Gadget Standing CES finalist and an SXSW Innovation Awards finalist.
