The VIT Initiative (branded Vigilant Technologies, or VIT) was a Pittsburgh-based workplace safety startup that built wearable technology and real-time risk-assessment software to help employers prevent musculoskeletal injuries before they happened. Co-founded by Andy Chan and Connor Young, the company automated collection of leading-indicator safety data to reduce workplace injuries and streamline risk training for industrial employers. Vigilant Technologies was acquired by SWORD Health in October 2021.
