Tempo Participações S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TEMP3) is Brazil's largest independent provider of auto, home, and personal assistance services to the insurance, automaker, and affinity segments. Founded in 1994 and initially created as a dental and healthcare insurance provider, Tempo evolved to specialize in support services including roadside assistance, travel assistance, and home services. The company manages a portfolio covering approximately 30 million items and executes more than 1.8 million jobs per year through a network of approximately 20,000 nationwide service providers spanning the entire Brazilian territory. Tempo was listed on the Novo Mercado segment of BM&FBovespa until November 2015, when The Carlyle Group acquired a 51% controlling stake for R$318 million and proceeded to delist the company.
