Teleporter VR (also known as Teleporter Realities) is a Silicon Valley-based startup co-founded in 2015 by Dilara Keçeci and Aslan Yerdelen that builds immersive virtual reality experiences for the global gaming community. Its flagship product, World of Gamers, is a multifaceted gamer metaverse that serves as an integrated hub where players can access a wide variety of games, engage with fellow gamers worldwide, attend digital versions of real-life gaming conferences, and immerse themselves in diverse virtual game worlds. The platform combines a gaming universe, a distribution platform, and a digital marketing ecosystem into a single coherent virtual space. Teleporter is also developing Merlin's Chess, a life-size VR board game drawing inspiration from Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone. Backed by investors including Boost VC (Draper family fund), Arya GSYF, and Collective Spark, the company aspires to centralize all gaming-related needs into one gamer metaverse and has been featured by Wired UK and showcased at SXSW.
