Tapas Media (now operating as Tapas Entertainment, a Kakao Entertainment company) is a North American digital storytelling platform for webcomics and web novels, founded in 2012. The platform enables independent creators and professional studios to publish serialized comics and novels in a bite-sized, mobile-first format. Tapas has built a large community around user-generated content and professional originals, with over 600 million content views and distribution in English across iOS and Android. The company has expanded its IP portfolio through Originals Studio productions, publisher partnerships (including Andrews McMeel), and agency relationships (CAA), and now operates as a content hub alongside Radish and Wuxiaworld under Kakao Entertainment following Kakao's acquisition.
