Tairex (紫荆智康) is a Wuxi, China-based medical AI company founded in September 2024 and incubated by the Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR) at Tsinghua University. The company developed Agent Hospital, an AI hospital system featuring 42 AI Doctor Agents across 21 clinical departments trained through high-throughput simulation with millions of virtual patient interactions, achieving 96% diagnostic accuracy on MedQA benchmarks. Tairex has deployed its system across 8 hospitals in China, operates a 24/7 Online Virtual Consultation Room used by physicians and medical students across 27 Chinese provinces and internationally, and serves real patients with AI nurse triage and pre-consultation workflows.
