Swixx BioPharma was founded in December 2014 to replace the Central and Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and Latin American subsidiaries of biopharma, OTC, and medical device multinationals that choose not to operate directly in those markets. Headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, the company now operates in 45 countries with more than 1,300 employees, serving roughly 800 million people across a €124 billion pharma market. Swixx conducts no R&D or manufacturing of its own; instead it partners with global healthcare companies to bring innovative treatments to patients through localized commercial infrastructure.
