SWISSto12 is pioneering a revolutionary new class of small, low-cost Geostationary satellite, aiming to make high-speed connectivity more scalable, faster to deploy and less costly to operate. Founder Emile de Rijk started the company in 2011 while studying for his PhD in Physics at EPFL, turning to the university's 3D printing lab to design and manufacture high-performance Radio Frequency products at low cost. The company has grown from a build-to-print supplier into a build-to-spec aerospace and telecommunications manufacturer, with over 1,000 SWISSto12 products already in orbit and its first HummingSat GEO satellite planned for launch in 2027.
