SuperGen, Inc. was a Dublin, California-based pharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery, acquisition, rapid development, and commercialization of cancer therapeutics. Founded in 1991 and listed on Nasdaq (SUPG), the company built a portfolio of oncology drugs including Dacogen (decitabine). In 2011, SuperGen merged with Astex Therapeutics to form Astex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Otsuka Pharmaceutical.
