Stasys Medical Corporation is a Seattle-area medical device company, spun out of University of Washington research, developing the Atlas Platelet Strength Test (PST) — a reagent-less, point-of-care diagnostic that measures platelet strength in about three minutes using microfluidics, machine vision, and machine learning. The device is designed to give trauma physicians and emergency-room clinicians faster, more accurate information on bleeding and clotting risk than existing 30-60 minute lab-based platelet function tests.
