Staris AI is a continuous application security validation platform founded in 2023 in Seattle, Washington by Adam Cecchetti and Austin Fath. The platform replaces traditional penetration testing and vulnerability scanners by continuously discovering, proving, and helping remediate real exploitable vulnerabilities in running applications. Instead of generating lists of potential issues for teams to triage, Staris simulates real attacker behavior, executes controlled exploits, and confirms only vulnerabilities that are actually exploitable — complete with working proof-of-exploit and PR-ready remediation patches. The platform is designed for software companies that ship frequently and expose customer-facing APIs or applications, particularly ISVs and product-led teams that have outgrown scanner-heavy workflows. Staris supports private VPC and self-hosted deployments, RBAC, and SSO.
