Squares is a Kazakhstan-based marketplace platform that transforms event hosting and workspace flexibility by giving users access to over 2,000 pre-verified venues across 20 cities for working, meeting, and creating. Founded in 2021 by Kassym Kabylgali and Daniil Matskevich in Almaty, the platform enables individuals and businesses to find and rent locations for any type of event or working session by the hour or day. Squares has facilitated over 10,000 bookings to date and received seed funding from 500 Global. The company initially expanded to the UAE market before refocusing on Kazakhstan and neighboring markets.
