SnapRoute developed FlexSwitch, an open-source network operating system built for cloud-native data center environments. Founded in 2015 in Los Angeles, the company enabled disaggregated networking by decoupling the OS from proprietary hardware. SnapRoute was acquired by Infoblox in 2018 and its open-source assets were contributed to the community.
