Skylight Social

Skylight Social is a decentralized short-form video platform built on the AT Protocol, the same open technology that underpins Bluesky, enabling creators to share and discover videos across a growing network of interconnected apps. Founded in early 2025 by CEO Tori White and CTO Reed Harmeyer in Seattle, the app launched publicly in April 2025 after just 10 weeks of active development, backed by pre-seed funding from Mark Cuban and Graham & Walker Venture Fund. Because Skylight operates on the AT Protocol, users are immediately connected to Bluesky's network of over 33 million users, making content ban-proof and portable across the open social web. The platform supports videos up to three minutes long, an in-app editor, comments, likes, follows, and a growing roadmap of features including sounds, duets, and customizable feeds.
