SIRC Co., Ltd. is an Osaka City University spin-out that designs compact, no-installation IoT sensor units and the SIRC Cloud platform so factories and facilities can digitize energy and equipment data without stopping production lines. Its core SIRC device is a 5 mm chip that measures current, power, and angle and performs frequency conversion, enabling clip-on power and angle sensors used for energy visualization, predictive maintenance, and carbon-neutral programs. Founded in 2015 by researchers commercializing magnetic-thin-film work begun in the 1970s, the company sells to manufacturers and infrastructure operators in Japan and abroad, including deployments with firms such as Daikin and Hankyu Hanshin Properties. SIRC is shifting from hardware into software that turns sensor data into operational and energy-saving actions.
