Simprints

Simprints is a non-profit technology company born out of the University of Cambridge, on a mission to transform the way the world fights poverty and disease. They build open-source, ethical biometric identification tools — including fingerprint and facial recognition — that integrate with mobile data collection platforms like DHIS2 and CommCare to ensure vaccines, aid, and health services reach the people who need them most. Operating in 17 countries across South Asia, the Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa, Simprints has enrolled over 4.4 million people and actively supports frontline health workers with privacy-first digital identity infrastructure.
