Siin

Siin is the Gulf Cooperation Council's leading live shopping and social commerce platform, enabling buyers and sellers to engage through real-time livestreamed auctions, gamified purchasing experiences, and a trusted marketplace for high-value goods. The platform combines the interactive energy of live streaming with the reliability of an escrow-backed marketplace, targeting collectors, hobbyists, and enthusiasts across the GCC. Siin was founded in 2024 by Hesham AlSaati (formerly of Delivery Hero), Ahmed Allawi (formerly of Tap Payments), and Khaled Albalooshi (formerly of Telp), with the mission of digitizing the Gulf's traditionally relationship-driven trading culture. Within its first year of operation, the platform expanded across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman, facilitating the sale of hundreds of thousands of products and generating tens of thousands of hours of live-streamed shopping sessions. Siin raised $3 million in total funding led by VentureSouq and Shift Group, with participation from Plus VC and Oqal. The company is headquartered in Riyadh and is backed by startup programs including Hub71 and InspireU.
