Shunra was a pioneer in network virtualization and WAN emulation software, enabling organizations to simulate real-world network conditions in a lab environment. Its solutions allowed development, QA, and operations teams to test application performance under bandwidth constraints, latency, and packet loss before production rollout. Founded in Israel and later expanding to Philadelphia, Shunra's technology helped enterprises proactively address service level and performance issues. The company was acquired by HP in 2013 and its technology was integrated into HP's Software division.
